Site Manager – Commercial & High-Rise Residential
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 + Car Allowance/Company Car + Excellent Benefits
Our client is a well-established regional contractor with a proven track record of delivering high-quality commercial and high-rise residential projects across the North West. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their Liverpool team and take a leading role in delivering key developments from start to finish.

The Role
As a Site Manager, you will oversee all day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. You’ll coordinate subcontractors, manage site logistics, and maintain excellent communication with project stakeholders to keep works progressing smoothly.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all on-site operations for commercial and high-rise residential schemes.

Ensure health & safety compliance across all site activities.
*
Supervise subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring quality workmanship and timely delivery.
*
Monitor site progress against programme, budgets, and project milestones.
*
Conduct site meetings, coordinate trades, and resolve on-site issues promptly.
*
Liaise with clients, consultants, and senior management to maintain excellent relationships.
*
Ensure site documentation, records, and reports are maintained accurately.
*
Promote a safe, positive, and productive working environment.
About You
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial or residential construction.
*
Previous experience delivering high-rise residential projects (essential).
*
Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and quality control.
*
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
*
Capable of managing multiple trades and maintaining site discipline.
*
SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold card), and First Aid certification.
*
Degree, HNC, or NVQ in Construction Management or a related discipline (preferred).
*
Proactive and adaptable, with a hands-on approach to delivering projects successfully.
