Site Manager - Cladding Remediation
Project: Ingenta Building
Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Car Allowance
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a £1m, high-profile cladding remediation project involving the removal and full replacement of external wall systems.
This is a safety-critical scheme requiring meticulous planning, coordination, and execution to ensure full compliance with current Building Safety Regulations and fire safety standards. The successful candidate will take ownership of the project from pre-construction through to completion and handover, working alongside a collaborative and highly professional delivery team.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for
  * Managing all on-site activities throughout the remediation programme
  * Coordinating subcontractors and specialist façade contractors
  * Overseeing the safe removal and replacement of external wall systems
  * Ensuring strict adherence to fire safety regulations and current building safety legislation
  * Driving programme, quality, and budget control
  * Maintaining detailed site records and compliance documentation
  * Leading site meetings and reporting progress to senior management
  * Promoting a strong health & safety culture across the project
About You
We are looking for a proactive and technically strong Site Manager with
  * Proven experience delivering cladding remediation or façade replacement projects
  * Strong knowledge of current Building Regulations and fire compliance standards
  * Demonstrable experience managing high-rise or occupied residential schemes (desirable)
  * SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid qualifications
  * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  * A hands-on leadership style with a commitment to quality and safety
