Freelance Site Manager (External Works / Recladding / EWI)
Location: Llanelli
Rate: £250 per day (CIS / LTD available)
Contract Length: 3 months
Start: ASAP
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a programme of recladding, external works, or external wall insulation (EWI) on a live project in Llanelli.
The hiring company is a long‑established contractor known for delivering high‑quality construction, refurbishment and maintenance projects across Wales, including extensive experience in façade upgrades, retrofit work and EWI schemes.
This is a great opportunity for a Site Manager who can confidently run external envelope projects, coordinate subcontractors and maintain safe, high‑quality site operations.
Key Responsibilities
  * Manage day‑to‑day site operations for external works, recladding or EWI packages.
  * Oversee subcontractors and ensure quality workmanship throughout.
  * Maintain strong site safety standards and ensure compliance with all H&S procedures.
  * Conduct site inductions, daily briefings and toolbox talks.
  * Coordinate deliveries, logistics and site access requirements.
  * Keep site records, diaries and reports up to date.
  * Monitor progress and help drive the project to meet programme milestones.
  * Liaise with project teams, residents and client representatives where required.
Requirements
  * Valid CSCS card.
  * SMSTS .
  * Proven experience managing facade, recladding, external works, or EWI projects.
  * Strong understanding of external wall systems and insulation works.
  * Confident in managing subcontractors and enforcing site standards.
  * Good organisational, communication and reporting skills.
  * Able to start quickly and commit for 3 months.
  * Eligible for CIS payments.
