Job Description

Job Title: Site Manager

Location: Birmingham

Sector: Fit-Out/ Refurbishment/ Hospitality

The Role

Day-to-day management of site operations on hospitality fit-out and refurbishment projects
Overseeing projects from strip-out through to handover, including M&E, finishes and FF&E installation
Managing subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently and to programme
Coordinating trades in live environments, minimising disruption to clients and members of the public
Ensuring strict compliance with Health & Safety regulations, RAMS, permits and site inductions
Maintaining site records, daily diaries, progress reports and snagging lists
Liaising with Project Managers, clients, designers and suppliers to resolve site issues
Monitoring programme and assisting with short-term planning to meet tight hospitality deadlines
Ensuring quality standards are met and rectifying defects promptly
Managing deliveries, waste removal and site logistics in constrained locations
Supporting client inspections, handovers and final completionRequirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager within fit-out and refurbishment projects
Strong background in hospitality projects such as pubs, bars, restaurants or leisure venues
Experience managing fast-track programmes and working in live environments
Good understanding of construction sequencing, finishes and M&E coordination
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and tight deadlines
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach
