Job Description

Site Manager – Industrial Project | Nuneaton | Immediate Start | Until September 2026

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a major industrial construction project in Nuneaton on a freelance/contract basis through to September 2026.

Working for the main contractor, you will take responsibility for managing the internal fit-out and finishing packages, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  * Oversee and coordinate all internal works packages on site.

  * Manage subcontractors and direct labour.

  * Monitor programme progress and ensure key milestones are achieved.

  * Conduct site inspections and maintain quality standards.

  * Ensure compliance with all health & safety requirements.

  * Liaise with project management teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.

  * Drive productivity and resolve site issues proactively.

Requirements

  * Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale construction projects.

  * Must have previous Tier 1 contractor experience or significant experience delivering industrial/logistics projects.

  * Strong understanding of internal fit-out and finishing packages.

  * SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates essential.

  * Excellent organisational and communication skills.

  * Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme delivery.
