Job Description

Freelance Site Manager / Construction Manager – Cat B Fit-Out

  * Brighton (City Centre)

  * £1.5m Project Value

  * Start June

  * Duration: 12–16 Weeks

We have an opportunity for an experienced Freelance Site Manager / Construction Manager to deliver a £1.5m Cat B fit-out in the centre of Brighton.

The project involves the fit-out of an existing building for an incoming tenant, so experience working on live/commercial environments and managing fast-paced programmes will be key.

Key Details:

  * CAT B commercial fit-out

  * Existing building – full internal fit-out

  * Tight programme (12–16 weeks)

  * City centre location

Key Responsibilities:

  * Day-to-day site management and coordination of subcontractors

  * Driving programme and ensuring deadlines are hit

  * Managing H&S and site compliance

  * Liaising with client, consultants, and project team

  * Overseeing quality and delivery to a high standard

Requirements:

  * Proven experience delivering CAT B fit-out projects

  * Strong subcontractor management

  * Ability to work to tight deadlines

  * SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
