FREELANCE SITE MANAGER – GROUNDWORKS

Immediate Start | Freelance Contract

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager with a strong background in groundworks to join a busy construction project.

The successful candidate will have proven experience managing groundworks packages, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

Key Responsibilities

  * Managing groundworks operations on site

  * Supervising groundworkers and subcontractors

  * Coordinating excavation, drainage, foundations and external works

  * Managing site activities and ensuring works remain on programme

  * Ensuring all works meet required quality standards

  * Conducting site inspections and monitoring progress

  * Liaising with the Project Manager and wider site team

  * Maintaining strong health & safety standards

  * Managing RAMS and ensuring site procedures are followed

Requirements

  * Proven experience as a Site Manager

  * Strong groundworks experience

  * Experience managing subcontractors and site teams

  * Good understanding of construction processes and health & safety

  * Excellent communication and organisational skills

  * Relevant Site Management qualifications/cards

  * Available for an immediate start
