Job Description

BRS Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a reputable commercial contractor for an experienced Site Manager to oversee works on a community project in Telford, starting in September.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering a high-quality commercial development.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Manage the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and within budget.

  * Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site labour.

  * Ensure all work is carried out to the highest quality standards.

  * Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and regular health and safety inspections.

  * Monitor programme progress and report to the Contracts Manager.

  * Maintain site records, including daily diaries and RAMS.

  * Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation and company procedures.

  * Liaise professionally with clients, consultants and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  * Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects.

  * Proven experience managing commercial developments from start to finish.

  * Valid SMSTS certificate.

  * Valid CSCS Card (Black or White preferred).

  * First Aid at Work certificate.

  * Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

  * Ability to manage multiple trades and deliver projects to programme.
