Site Manager

Manchester City Centre

4-month contract- Immediate start

A leading fit out contractor require an experienced Site Manager for a 4-month freelance contract to deliver a CAT B office fit out project in Manchester city centre.

This role requires a hands-on Site Manager with a proven track record of delivering high-quality commercial fit out projects. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining programme, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to programme.
Drive programme performance and proactively resolve site issues to minimise delays.
Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and housekeeping.
Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety inspections.
Liaise effectively with the Project Manager, client representatives, consultants, and subcontractors.
Manage site logistics, deliveries, and the coordination of multiple trades.
Complete daily site records, progress reports, and project documentation using Procure.Candidate Requirements

Previous experience managing office fit out and refurbishment projects for a main contractor.
Strong understanding of commercial fit out programmes and project sequencing.
Experience of temporary works and a sound knowledge of temporary works procedures.
Competent user of Procure.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to manage fast-paced projects while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.Essential Qualifications
