Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established construction business delivering large-scale refurbishment, retrofit and capital works projects across Bristol.

You will take responsibility for managing site operations, subcontractors and project delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Projects include high-rise residential refurbishment, façade remediation, roofing, fire safety improvements, external works and associated building upgrades. 

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site activities and coordinate subcontractors.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Maintain the highest standards of health, safety and quality.
Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
Monitor programme performance and proactively manage risks.
Oversee quality inspections, defect management and project handover.
Support commercial objectives through effective resource and subcontractor management. 

Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction, refurbishment or capital works projects.
Experience managing projects through subcontractor and supply chain arrangements.
Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and site management processes.
Experience delivering larger-scale residential, refurbishment or external works projects.
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
Full UK driving licence.
Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
