Job Description

CJS Recruitment are seeking an experienced and reliable Site Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations and manage labour teams on active construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while maintaining project schedules and site organisation.

We are looking for a reliable Site Manager / Supervisor to work on an ongoing site overseeing a commercial window replacement scheme, so having a strong background in roofing is ideal.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Supervise and coordinate small teams of labourers on site

  * Monitor daily site activities and ensure work is completed on schedule

  * Enforce health and safety regulations and site procedures

  * Allocate tasks and provide guidance to site workers

  * Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers as required

  * Conduct site inspections and maintain quality standard

  * Report progress, issues, and incidents to management

Requirements:

  * Previous experience in construction site supervision

  * Strong leadership and communication skills

  * Good understanding of construction health and safety practices

  * Ability to read and follow project plans and schedules

  * CSCS card and relevant supervision certificates (SSSTS, SMSTS, etc)
