Site Manager - Canterbury

About the role of Site Manager

Looking for a site manager to work on a long term mixed use commercial build. The project value is approximately £5,000,000. Looking for someone who has experience delivering commercial, residential or refurbishment projects at a value over £1,000,000.

Responsibilities of Site Manager

Manage the day-to-day running of site
Supervise subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health and safety legislation and company procedures
Carry out site inspections and maintain high standards throughout the project
Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports and health and safety documentation
Liaise with clients, consultants, local authorities, and the wider project team
Attend progress meetings and provide regular project updates
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification 

Requirements of Site Manager

Previous experience as a Site Manager
Valid SMSTS
CSCS black card
First Aid at Work qualification
Strong knowledge of current health and safety regulations
Full UK driving licence 

The project is a commercial build and has a long duration.
