Job Description

ITS Construction Professionals are recruiting on behalf of a well-established residential contractor for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee the housing phase of a large residential development in the Cheltenham area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in traditional housebuilding to join a live project and lead the day-to-day site operations.

The Role

  * Manage the day-to-day delivery of a residential housing development.

  * Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site labour.

  * Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard of quality.

  * Monitor progress against programme and report to the Project Manager.

  * Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks and maintain health & safety compliance.

  * Drive quality standards in line with NHBC requirements.

  * Ensure the project is delivered efficiently through to completion.

Requirements

  * Proven experience as a Site Manager on traditional housing developments.

  * Strong understanding of NHBC standards and residential construction.

  * SMSTS.

  * First Aid at Work.

  * CSCS

  * Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  * Full UK Driving Licence.
