Freelance Site Manager – Fit Out & Refurbishment

Location: Sunderland

Duration: Freelance

Start Date: Next Week

Project: PureGym Fit Out & Refurbishment

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee the fit out and refurbishment of a PureGym in Sunderland.

This is a live environment, so the successful candidate will need to be confident managing site operations while maintaining a professional approach around gym users, staff and members of the public. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are therefore essential.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the day-to-day delivery of the fit out and refurbishment works.
	
Coordinating subcontractors, site teams and deliveries.
	
Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard.
	
Maintaining excellent communication with the client, subcontractors and gym staff.
	
Managing works within a live environment while minimising disruption to gym users.
	
Ensuring all Health & Safety and site procedures are followed.
	
Carrying out regular site inspections and quality checks.
	
Attending progress meetings and providing regular updates to the project team.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager within fit out, refurbishment or similar projects.
	
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and site management procedures.
	
Experience working within live environments would be highly advantageous.
	
Excellent communication and people-management skills.
	
Ability to coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
	
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
	
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the project
