Job Description

Site Manager – Glasgow (Freelance)

Start: ASAP
Duration: Until March 2027

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to manage a restoaration project in the Glasgow area starting ASAP/

The project includes roof dismantling and full slate re-roofing, scaffolding and edge protection, low-level roof replacement, timber remediation and structural steel installation.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Overall day-to-day site management and coordination

  * 

    Main point of contact for client and design team

  * 

    Managing subcontractors and site activities

  * 

    Progress reporting and managing RFIs

  * 

    Temporary Works Management

  * 

    Daily/weekly site inspections

  * 

    Maintaining high Health & Safety standards

  * 

    Managing site documentation through Procore

Requirements

  * 

    Proven Site Management experience

  * 

    Refurbishment/restoration experience highly desirable

  * 

    Experience with roofing, structural works or listed buildings advantageous

  * 

    Temporary works experience

  * 

    Strong client-facing and communication skills

  * 

    SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
