Site Manager – Industrial New Build

Location: Bristol / South West
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Package
Employment Type: Permanent
Sector: Industrial / Logistics / New Build

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established construction contractor for a permanent Site Manager position based in and around Bristol.

The business is delivering a growing portfolio of industrial and logistics developments, with project values typically ranging from £5M to £25M. Due to continued growth and a strong forward order book, they are looking to strengthen their delivery team with an experienced Site Manager.

This role would suit a Site Manager with strong new-build experience who is looking for a permanent position and is comfortable travelling to different projects when required.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of industrial new-build projects, coordinating subcontractors and site teams while ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

You will work closely with the Project Manager and wider construction team to ensure all aspects of the build are effectively coordinated and delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  * Managing day-to-day site operations

  * Coordinating subcontractors, labour and site activities

  * Managing site logistics and construction sequencing

  * Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with programme

  * Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship

  * Ensuring compliance with RAMS and health & safety procedures

  * Conducting site inspections and monitoring progress

  * Attending site meetings and coordinating with project stakeholders

  * Reporting progress and site issues to the Project Manager

  * Maintaining site records and construction documentation

  * Supporting snagging, completion and project handover

Requirements

  * Proven Site Manager experience within the construction industry

  * Industrial, logistics, warehouse or commercial new-build experience

  * Experience delivering projects in the £5M–£25M range desirable

  * Valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid

  * Strong understanding of construction methodology and site management

  * Proven ability to manage subcontractors and site teams

  * Excellent communication and organisational skills

  * Full UK driving licence and own vehicle

  * Willingness to travel to projects across the region
