Job Description
Site Manager – Suffolk – Power Station
We are partnering with a ‘cradle to grave’ project delivery partner specialising in planning, commercial and project management. Due to continued growth in their team, they are seeking a Site Manager to aid with their development in Biggleswade.
Responsibilities
* Oversee Day-to-Day Site Operations:
Lead and coordinate all on-site activities to ensure the power station operates efficiently, safely, and in line with project schedules and regulatory standards.
* Prepare and Submit Detailed Reports:
Maintain accurate and timely reporting on project progress, safety incidents, resource utilization, and site performance for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
* Liaise with Utility Providers and Stakeholders:
Collaborate with utility companies, contractors, and project teams—leveraging even limited prior experience in the utilities sector to manage expectations and ensure compliance.
* Ensure Compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental Standards:
Promote a safety-first culture on site, enforce strict adherence to HSE protocols, and assist in conducting audits and incident investigations as needed.
* Utilize Digital Tools and Systems Effectively:
Confidently use computer software (e.g., MS Office, project management tools, digital reporting platforms) to streamline documentation, scheduling, and communication processes.
Requirements
Previous Utilities experience is required
Must be computer literate
Must have UK Passport or RTW in the UK
