Synergy Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a Site Manager/Construction manager for a project near Reading Berkshire.
About the role
Are you an experienced Site Manager / Construction Manager with a strong track record in delivering complex, high-value projects? We are looking for a skilled professional to lead construction activities on a highly sensitive defence project in Berkshire.
This is a unique opportunity to work on a mission-critical programme within a secure environment, overseeing multiple disciplines, ensuring safety, quality and programme objectives are met.
What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety and security regulations
* Manage contactors, sub-contractors and internal teams to deliver work packages on time and within budget
* Liaise with stakeholders, designers and engineers to ensure seamless project execution
* Implement and enforce quality control measures and risk mitigation strategies
* Report progress to senior leadership and escalate issues where necessary
Who we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Site Manager/Construction Manager on large scale complex projects
* Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and construction best practice
* Ability to lead and co-ordinate multi-disciplinary teams in a high security environment
* SC Clearance (or eligibility to obtain)
* Excellent communication skills
