Job Description
Our client, a specialist contractor within the construction industry, is seeking an experienced Site Manager with a background in dry-lining to join their team on a long-term basis. With a growing pipeline of nationwide work, the company offers a supportive environment and carefully considers travel and location when assigning projects, promoting work-life balance and sustainability.
The successful candidate's first assignment will be to manage a dry-lining project in Harrogate, due to commence in three weeks. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing business with a strong focus on quality and team culture.
Site Manager - Benefits
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Site Manager - Role Overview
Manage and oversee dry-lining works and subcontractors on active sites
Ensure work is completed on time, to budget, and in line with safety and quality standards
Liaise with project teams, clients, and operatives to ensure smooth site operation
Maintain and update daily records, reports, and progress updates using provided tech
Coordinate materials, deliveries, and workforce requirements
Enforce and adhere to all health & safety procedures and risk assessments
Lead on-site meetings and toolbox talks where required
Site Manager - Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager in dry-lining or interior fit-out projects
Strong organisational and leadership skills
Ability to manage subcontractors and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Competent with digital reporting tools (tablet/iPad/laptop use)
Valid SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid at Work (preferred)
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to travel when required, but ideally based within reach of Harrogate for initial project
