Duration: Temporary 6 – 8 Weeks
Rotation: 11 days on / 3 days off
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager for a civil engineering project in Shetland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of works
* Coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and the client to ensure project milestones are met
* Overseeing works related to installation of 5km of 33Kv ducting
* Implementing health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) standards on site
* Managing site records, reporting, and toolbox talks
* Supporting temporary works processes and supervision
Requirements:
* Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
* Valid 3-day First Aid at Work qualification
* Experience managing civil engineering projects, ideally in remote or challenging environments
* SWQR Supervisor card is a strong advantage
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
