Job Description
Are you an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in groundworks? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading groundworks contractor who is seeking a confident and hands-on Site Manager to oversee multiple projects across Leeds, Bradford and Barnsley.
About the Role:
As Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of groundworks sites, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to specification. Projects typically include foundations, drainage, fencing, and general external works for commercial developments.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver daily briefings and ensure toolbox talks and site inductions are completed.
*
Manage and coordinate a team of up to 10 site operatives.
*
Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity and site safety.
*
Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
*
Maintain high standards of site documentation and reporting.
*
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times.
What We're Looking For:
*
Proven experience managing groundworks packages (foundations, drainage, etc.).
*
Strong site leadership and communication skills.
*
SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold Card) & First Aid at Work.
*
Full UK driving licence.
*
Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
