Job Opportunity: Site Manager – Fire Stopping

🏗️ The Role:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Site Manager to oversee an 8-week fire stopping project in Hereford, starting on 1st September. This role will require hands-on management of fire stopping works, coordination of subcontractors, and ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and compliance standards.
🛠️ Responsibilities:
* Manage daily site operations related to fire stopping
* Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and operatives
* Ensure all fire stopping installations are compliant and signed off
* Maintain accurate site records and reporting
* Enforce site safety in accordance with HSE guidelines
* Liaise with project teams, clients, and inspectors as required
✅ Requirements:
* Previous experience managing fire stopping works (essential)
* SMSTS or SSSTS (SMSTS preferred)
* Valid CSCS card (Black or Gold preferred)
* First Aid certification (in date)
* Strong understanding of fire compliance and passive fire protection standards
* Ability to manage teams and meet tight deadlines
