Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established construction business, delivering a wide range of general building projects across the Central Belt of Scotland. This is a permanent role offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work on a variety of mid-sized developments.
The Role:
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. You will work closely with the contracts manager, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure the smooth running of operations from groundworks through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with health & safety and building regulations
*
Coordinate labour, materials, and subcontractors effectively
*
Monitor progress against programme and take corrective action as needed
*
Maintain site records and reporting procedures
*
Liaise with clients, consultants, and the internal team to ensure successful project delivery
*
Ensure high standards of workmanship and site presentation at all times
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager within general construction
*
Strong background in managing a diverse range of mid-sized projects (commercial, residential, public sector, etc.)
*
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
*
SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold card), and First Aid certification
*
Full UK driving licence
