Site Manager - Civil Engineering

First People Solutions are working with a well-established civil engineering contractor known for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across Scotland. With a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team for upcoming projects in the Edinburgh area.
This role offers the chance to work on diverse projects including roads, drainage, utilities, and groundworks, within a business that values quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily site operations, ensuring works are completed on time and within budget
Coordinate subcontractors, in-house teams, and material deliveries
Maintain and enforce health & safety standards
Liaise with clients, engineers, and project management teams
Keep accurate site records and progress reports
What we're looking for:
✅ Experience as a Site Manager in civil engineering
✅ SMSTS, CSCS (black or gold), and First Aid certifications
✅ Strong organisational and communication skills
✅ Proven ability to manage teams effectively
