Freelance Site Manager – 1 Week Cover (Residential Development, Barnstaple)
Location: Barnstaple, Devon
Duration: 1 week (cover role)
Start Date: Friday 10th October
We’re seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to provide one-week cover on a residential development project in Barnstaple.
Role Overview:
You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are carried out safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. You’ll coordinate subcontractors, maintain site records, and ensure compliance with health & safety procedures during the cover period.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily site activities and ensure smooth project delivery
*
Manage subcontractors and ensure adherence to programme
*
Conduct site inductions and enforce H&S compliance
*
Monitor quality and progress on all works
*
Report any issues to the project manager
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential projects
*
Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications
*
Strong communication and organisational skills
*
Ability to maintain standards and site efficiency with minimal supervisionBefore You Apply
