The Role
Key Grp Limited is looking for an experienced Site Manager with a strong joinery background to manage and support the delivery of commercial projects across the UK.
This is a hands-on role involving the coordination of on-site activities alongside joinery, finishing and snagging work where required. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
The role will predominantly involve working night shifts from Sunday to Thursday. Flexibility may be required depending on individual project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day operation of construction sites.
* Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, materials and resources.
* Carry out joinery, finishing, remedial and snagging works where required.
* Develop and implement project schedules and site plans.
* Monitor progress and make adjustments to keep projects on programme.
* Ensure all work meets the required quality and specification.
* Complete and maintain all documentation contained within the project file.
* Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
* Manage site health and safety requirements.
* Review RAMS and ensure safe working practices are followed.
* Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
* Lead, motivate and support site teams and subcontractors.
* Coordinate with Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
* Act as the main on-site point of contact for clients.
* Provide regular progress updates and address any client concerns.
* Identify and resolve issues affecting project timescales, quality or costs.
* Monitor project expenditure and identify appropriate cost-saving opportunities.
* Ensure sites are maintained in a safe, organised and professional condition.
* Support the successful completion and handover of projects.

About You
Essential requirements:
Strong practical joinery experience.
Experience managing commercial construction or fit-out projects.
