Site Manager – New Build Housing
Location: Maldon, Essex
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Package
My client is seeking a Site Manager to join their successful and growing team, delivering a traditional new build housing scheme in Maldon, Essex.
The Role:
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of the project. You’ll oversee all on-site operations, ensuring the development is built to the highest standards of quality, completed safely, on programme, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all on-site construction activities from start to finish
Ensure strict compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
Coordinate, supervise, and motivate subcontractors and suppliers
Manage site logistics, progress reporting, and programme scheduling
Monitor build quality, carry out regular inspections, and ensure defect-free delivery
Chair site meetings, toolbox talks, and daily briefings
Drive the project through to successful completion and client handover
Work closely with senior management to achieve project and business objectivesRequirements:
Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential new build schemes
Strong knowledge of traditional build methods and current building regulations
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications (essential)
A proactive, detail-focused approach with the ability to problem-solve under pressureWhat’s on Offer:
