Job Description
Site Manager – SHDF Retrofit | Sanctuary Housing
* Location: CB6 (initially), expanding across Cambridgeshire
* Client: Sancturay Housing
* Salary: Up to £60k + package
* Project Value: £4m in CB6, £8m+ wider Cambridgeshire
Role
We are working with the UK’s Leading Property Services companies, together we are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to help lead the delivery of high-profile Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) works, initially in the CB6 area before expanding into a wider Cambridgeshire project.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the retrofit of occupied homes, delivering energy-efficiency measures such as:
* External Wall Insulation (EWI)
* Photovoltaic (PV) solar installations
* Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs)
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day site operations across multiple properties while ensuring minimal disruption to residents.
* Manage subcontractors, material deliveries, and programme timelines.
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and resident engagement on site.
* Monitor quality assurance and compliance with PAS 2035 standards.
* Report progress to the project team and contribute to stakeholder updates.
Requirements
* Proven experience managing retrofit works in occupied social housing..
* Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold Card), and First Aid certificates (required).
* Understanding of PAS 2035/2030 and SHDF funding compliance (desirable).
