Job Description

Ionic Recruitment are currently looking for a Site Manager on behalf of our client. Introduction: Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a variety of planned installation and maintenance works, including the installation of windows, doors, and other building components. This role is based across multiple sites and will involve managing on-site teams and subcontractors to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality project delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering essential works across the North West. Salary: £42,500 per annum Package: Company van, fuel card, and extensive training packages provided. Job Responsibilities: * Supervise daily site activities including the installation and maintenance of building components such as windows and doors. * Coordinate subcontractors and ensure all tasks are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard. * Conduct site inspections and manage compliance with CDM 2015 regulations. * Lead Toolbox Talks and enforce company Health & Safety procedures. * Ensure accurate site documentation, including inspections, testing, and compliance records. * Liaise with clients and senior management, providing regular updates on project progress. * Resolve site issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines. * Maintain and update Construction Phase Plans in collaboration with your line manager. Requirements: * Experience managing planned maintenance and installation projects in the construction sector. * Solid knowledge of building regulations, technical standards, and site health & safety. * Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. * SMSTS and CSCS certification required. * First Aid and Asbestos Awareness desirable (training will be provided where necessary). * Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software. * Must have a full UK driving licence and be flexible with travel to multiple sites.
