About the Role Are you looking for your next opportunity with an innovative and collaborative contractor? We are recruiting on behalf of a subcontractor working with Irish Rail on a major €15 million project in Cork.
They are seeking a motivated and experienced Site Engineer to join their team and play a key role in delivering high-quality rail infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 5+ years’ experience who wants to take ownership of challenging projects while growing their career.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage daily site activities on a large-scale civil/rail project.
Carry out setting out, surveying, and quality assurance to ensure precision and compliance.
Supervise subcontractors and site staff, coordinating schedules and resources.
Ensure full compliance with Irish Rail standards, project specifications, and H&S regulations.
Collaborate with the Project Manager, design teams, and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
Maintain accurate site records, progress tracking, and reporting.Skills & Experience
5+ years’ proven experience in a Site Engineer role (rail or civils background desirable).
Strong technical knowledge of surveying, setting out, and civil engineering processes.
Familiarity with Irish construction legislation and health & safety standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure while delivering results to strict deadlines.What’s on Offer
