Job Description
Soil / Land Remediation & Restoration Operations Manager (Landfill)
ROLE: Site Operations Manager - Soil Remediation
PACKAGE: £Salary depending on experience
CLIENT: A leader in recycling and waste management sector looking to hire a Site Operations manager ideally with soil remediation experience
Location – Eastleigh, Southampton and surrounding areas
PREVIOUS TITLES: Waste Operations Manager/ Landfill Manager, Muckaway, Construction Manager
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: Waste Management, Landfill, Construction Site, Land Remediation, Soils, Composting, Green Waste, Hardcore, Aggregates
ROLE OVERVIEW
Your key responsibility will be to ensure the material meets the required specification form a physical point of view - ie there are no lumps of aggregate / physical contamination
You will also take samples for chemical analysis and again ensure product is of sufficient quality
You will oversee transport that ensures compliance with health and safety and environmental legislation and that any infringements are cut out
You will ensure that all of the above areas are measured and reported on utilising spreadsheets
EXPERIENCE
You will need an understanding in all the areas described above perhaps from one of the following industries:
Construction / Land Remediation or Restoration / Processing Plant / Waste Management / Landfill Site / Muck away
You should have an understanding of:
Soil Transport, Processing and Storage
Processes to include washing, screening, threshing
Soil Sampling
Site Health & Safety - IOSH / NEBOSH Desirable
CSCS Card
A WAMITAB COTC Level 4 treatment beneficial
You must have at least 2 years experience in waste management operations
A Full UK driving licence is requiredBefore You Apply
