Site Supervisor - GRP Installation Projects (Nationwide Travel)
Salary: £39,000 - £46,000 per annum + Bonus + Benefits
Prime Appointments is recruiting a Site Supervisor on behalf of a specialist contractor delivering GRP installation projects across the UK.
This is a hands-on supervisory role overseeing the safe and efficient installation of bespoke GRP flooring systems, risers, walkways, and access structures.
We are seeking an experienced supervisor with a strong construction background who can lead teams, ensure compliance, and deliver projects to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise on-site teams installing GRP flooring, risers, and access structures
Manage site resources including labour, tools, and materials
Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with safety standards
Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications, and approved method statements
Produce and maintain RAMS, quality records, and project documentation
Liaise with Project Managers, clients, and stakeholders on project progress
Ensure safe use and maintenance of all equipment and PPE
Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standardsRequirements
Proven experience supervising GRP or similar construction projects
Knowledge of GRP systems such as Dura Grating or equivalent
Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations, including PUWER and ISO standards
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Valid CSCS card and Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
SSSTS qualification required; PASMA, IPAF, Harness & Lanyard, and PTS desirable
Flexibility to travel nationwide with overnight stays (Monday-Friday)What We Offer
