Job Description

Site-Based Project Manager - Structural Steel Location: Sites across Europe Salary: €80,000 + Car + Expenses + Living Allowance Travel: Extensive European travel required The Role A market leading Structural Steel specialist is looking for an experienced Site-Based Project Manager to oversee the delivery of major structural steel projects across Europe. This is a hands-on role, managing projects from mobilisation through to completion, working closely with clients, main contractors, site teams, subcontractors and Wall Steel's internal design, fabrication and commercial teams. Key Responsibilities Manage structural steel projects from start to finish. Oversee site erection activities, programme and project delivery. Manage site teams, subcontractors and suppliers. Liaise with clients, main contractors and project stakeholders. Monitor programme, costs, variations and project performance. Coordinate with design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards. Attend site and progress meetings and provide regular project updates. About You Proven experience as a Project Manager within structural steel or steel erection. Strong understanding of structural steelwork and site operations. Experience managing subcontractors and site-based teams. Good commercial and programme management skills. Confident dealing with clients and main contractors. Strong understanding of health & safety requirements. Able to read and understand structural steel drawings. Willing and able to travel extensively across Europe.
