Site Project Manager - Heavy Lifting Machinery & Automation
We have an exciting opportunity on Hinkley Point C for an international engineering company specialising in heavy machinery, automation, and technical support within the Nuclear industry.
You will oversee the on-site assembly, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of highly specialised polar cranes on a Nuclear site. This role involves leading multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring safety and quality, and delivering technical excellence to clients across industrial sectors.
This position is ideal for an experienced mechanical or electromechanical professional who thrives in hands-on, site-based roles. If you enjoy problem-solving, leading teams, and delivering complex technical solutions while maintaining the highest safety standards, this job will suit you perfectly. Key Responsibilities
Oversee on-site assembly, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of specialised cranes.
Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality.
Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, providing daily progress reports and technical updates.
Monitor project compliance with budgets and company procedures, providing regular internal reporting.
Supervise subcontractors and liaise with technical teams at head office for ongoing support.
In return you'll receive a salary of up to £90,000 + an accommodation allowance, 25 days holiday, a matched pension up to 8% and Health Insurance.
