We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to support a commercial build project in Carlisle. Candidates must be within 1 hour commute of Carlisle, no digs available.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong site presence, organisation and the ability to manage day-to-day operations while maintaining high standards of health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct site inductions for all operatives and visitors
* Supervise trades and subcontractors on site
* Ensure works are carried out in line with programme and specifications
* Maintain health and safety standards across site
* Monitor site activity and report progress to Site Management
* Assist with daily briefings and toolbox talks
Requirements
* SSSTS or SMSTS – essential
* Valid First Aid at Work certificate – essential
* Proven experience supervising commercial construction projects
* Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures
* Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain workflow
