Job Description

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to support delivery on a live highways project based in Wellington.

This is a long-term contract role (circa 6 months) with an established civil engineering contractor, offering consistent work and the potential to extend further.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Overseeing day-to-day site operations on a highways scheme

  * Supervising workforce and subcontractors to ensure programme delivery

  * Ensuring works are carried out safely and in line with specifications

  * Supporting site management with progress reporting and coordination

Requirements:

  * Streetworks certification (NRSWA / EUSR) – essential

  * Strong drainage experience – essential

  * Proven track record supervising highways or infrastructure projects

  * Ability to manage site teams and maintain high H&S standards

  * Ideally able to bring in a small gang later down the line (not essential initially, but beneficial)
