Job Description

Site Supervisor / Foreman – Halifax (Immediate Start)

Location: Halifax, HX4
 Start Date: Wednesday 27th May
 End Date: Wednesday 3rd June
 Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
 Duration: 1 week (potential extension based on performance and competency on the tools)

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor / Foreman to oversee works on a residential property project. This position requires a balance of hands-on involvement and effective site management. You will be responsible for coordinating trades, maintaining site safety, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervising joiners, labourers, and subcontractors
Providing hands-on support, particularly with joinery tasks
Assisting with scaffold erection and coping installation
Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to (client is highly H&S focused)
Completing daily reporting and maintaining full site compliance
Liaising with project managers and ensuring work progresses to schedule

Requirements:

SSSTS – essential
Strong joinery background with the ability to assist on the tools
Proven experience supervising trades on residential construction projects
Solid understanding of site safety standards and compliance
Ability to communicate clearly and manage workloads effectively
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
