Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Civils Supervisor (Ganger) to join a major highways infrastructure project at the A432 Badminton Bridge. This is a long-term opportunity for the right individual, working on a nationally significant project under National Highways regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Supervise a small site team including a plant operator, slinger/signaller, and grounds worker.
*
Work directly under a General Foreman and follow instructions for planned works.
*
Coordinate with other contractors and support the main works delivery.
*
Enforce and maintain high health & safety standards on site.
*
Complete daily briefings, inductions, TBTs, and inspections (following successful onboarding).
*
Operate site tablet for documentation and compliance monitoring (training provided).
Requirements:
*
Civil engineering experience, particularly on highways or motorway schemes.
*
SSSTS certification (minimum).
*
Driving licence is essential.
*
Ability to work as part of a collaborative and safety-conscious team.
*
Local to the area preferred for ease of access and ongoing availability.
*
Must have SMSTS, CSCS + First
