Job Description
Vida Education are currently assisting a local primary school on the Fylde Coast who are looking for a site supervisor..
Starting ASAP on an ongoing basis, the role will be 5 days a week - Monday to Friday.
Joining a small team, previous experince in a similar site supervisor role or a school cleaning role would be benefical as training may be limited to do restraints in the school.
The role will invlove;
Ensure that buildings and the site are secure, including during out of school hours and take remedial action if required;
Act as the designated key holder for the school premises;
Operate and regularly check systems such as heating, cooling, lighting and security (including CCTV and alarms);
Undertake minor repairs (i.e. not requiring qualified craftsperson) and maintenance of the buildings and site;
Arrange emergency repairs;
Arrange regular maintenance and safety checks;
Oversee onsite maintenance contractors, checking that work is completed to required standards and within required timescales;
Cleaning duties as required;
Monitor consumables and stock and order supplies;
Undertake general portage duties, including moving furniture and equipment within the school;
Perform duties in line with health and safety and COSHH regulations and take action where hazards are identified, report serious hazards to line manager immediately;
Undertake regular health and safety checks of buildings, grounds, fixtures and fittings, (including compliance with fire safety regulations) and equipment, in line with other schedules;
Adhere to the safeguarding policy.YOU WILL NEED TO;
Have UK Right To Work Status
Have recent work experience in a school environment or similar setting.
Complete a registration with Vida Education which includes holding a current Enhanced DBS registered with the DBS Update Service, or you will be prepared to apply for a new ENHANCED DBS with ourselves (cost applied)BENEFITS OF WORKING WITH VIDA EDUCATION;
