Join a well-established contractor with over 80 years of experience, working as a trusted partner to some of the UK's largest housing associations and councils. Specialising in long-term planned works, cyclical decorations, major refurbishment, and retrofit programmes, we offer genuine career progression in a stable, growing business.
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor with a strong trade background to oversee Kitchens & Bathrooms projects and wider refurbishment works. You'll play a key role in managing day-to-day site operations while ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety compliance.
Coverage Area:
* You'll be overseeing projects across Lambeth and Croydon, managing multiple sites within these boroughs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Lead daily operations across multiple sites, ensuring full Health & Safety compliance including scaffold inspections and adherence to all legislation
* Supervise and motivate teams of skilled tradespeople across Kitchens & Bathrooms and wider refurbishment projects
* Conduct pre-start checks, work area set-up, scaffold inspections, and post-completion inspections
* Deliver toolbox talks, safe start meetings, and comprehensive risk assessments
* Liaise with clients, residents, subcontractors, and internal teams
* Track progress against KPIs and provide regular reports to the Contracts Manager
* Provide on-site guidance and support for both internal teams and subcontractors
Essential Requirements:
* Full UK manual driving licence
* Valid CSCS card
* SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
* Strong background in Kitchens & Bathrooms refurbishment
* Proven experience supervising multi-trade teams across multiple sites
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Trade background strongly preferred
