About the Role
Global Highland are recruiting an experienced Site Supervisor / Manager to take ownership of day-to-day operations across a range of civil engineering projects. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
*
Leading and coordinating all site activities from groundworks through to completion
*
Supervising direct labour, subcontractors, plant, and materials
*
Ensuring all works meet technical specifications and quality requirements
*
Driving a strong health & safety culture on site, including toolbox talks and inductions
*
Liaising with clients, engineers, and project managers to maintain progress and resolve issues
*
Keeping accurate site records, reports, and daily diaries
*
Monitoring progress against programme and reporting updates to management
What We’re Looking For
*
Proven experience in a site supervisory or management role within civil engineering
*
Strong technical knowledge in earthworks, reinforced concrete, drainage, road construction, and utilities
*
Relevant construction management or civil engineering qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree desirable)
*
SMSTS / SSSTS (desirable)
*
NRSWA Supervisor
*
3 Day First Aid
*
CSCS card – Gold or Black (management level preferred)
*
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
*
Full UK driving licence
