Job Title: Site Supervisor - Transmission Projects Location: Didcot (and surrounding schemes), Uxbridge Moor, Margam, and Wallend (Grain). Contract: 6 months with posibility for extension Join our client, a leading organization in the utilities sector, as a Site Supervisor for exciting transmission projects across the South Region! This is your chance to make a significant impact on the development of an electricity network that will power homes and businesses with renewable and low-carbon energy. Why This Role is Exciting: As our representative on multiple construction sites, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all construction activities are managed efficiently. Your responsibilities will include: Overseeing site-based construction activities in accordance with our policies and procedures. Acting as the 'Client Representative' to ensure contractors deliver work safely and to the highest quality standards. Contributing to the UK's climate commitments and net zero targets through impactful project management. What We're Looking For: To thrive in this role, you should possess: A proven track record in construction, safety, and quality management. Experience with the construction phases of projects, with expertise in any of the following areas: - HV systems & equipment - Heavy Civils - GIS (Geographic Information Systems) - OHL (Overhead Lines) Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, with demonstrable experience in site management or supervision. A solid understanding of safety and environmental legislation, practices, and policies. Awareness of commercial management and quality management systems, particularly under NEC (New Engineering Contract). A full UK driving licence. Join Us!
