As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Technician with proven blacktop/asphalt testing experience to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Conduct site-based sampling and testing of asphalt (blacktop), aggregates, and other construction materials.
*
Perform in-situ testing in accordance with industry standards (BS EN, ASTM, etc.).
*
Accurately record, interpret, and report results in a timely manner.
*
Liaise with site managers, contractors, and laboratory staff.
*
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
*
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
Requirements:
*
Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in materials testing, with specific experience in asphalt/blacktop.
*
Understanding of relevant standards and testing procedures.
*
Full UK driving licence (essential).
*
CSCS card (desirable).
*
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
*
Willingness to work outdoors in varying site conditions.
*
Flexibility with working hours, including occasional weekends and nights.
