Shifts Full-Time, Ongoing Work
£12.21–£16.30/hr (based on skill level)
We’re looking for experienced and dependable Butchers to join a well-established meat processing team in Merthyr Tydfil. This is a full-time opportunity for individuals with proven cutting, boning, or trimming skills in high-volume food production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Cut, trim, and prepare meat products to precise specifications
Maintain hygiene and safety standards in a chilled production setting
Follow food safety protocols and contribute to a clean, compliant workspace
Work collaboratively to meet daily production targets
Participate in skill assessments to determine pay progression
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday: 06:00 – 15:00
Overtime available
Pay & Benefits:
£12.21 – £16.30 per hour, based on experience and cutting ability
Cutting test required during application to assess skill level
Full training and onboarding provided
Long-term work with opportunities for progression

Proven experience in butchery, meat cutting, boning, or trimming
Comfortable working in chilled environments
Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
