Job Description

Pipefitters, Welders and Skilled Labourers

Location: Swadlincote (DE11) and Pontyclun (CF72)

Rates:

Pipefitters - £32ph (Personal CIS)

Welders - £34ph (Personal CIS)

Skilled Labourers - £25ph (Personal CIS)

Hours:

Mon - Thurs (07:30-16:30)

Fri (07:30-14:30)

Contract: Sub-Contract

Start Date: January 2026

Nelson Permanent Placements are currently recruiting for Pipefitters, Welders and Skilled Labourers to join our client who are a market-leading Engineering Contractor working on a Pharmaceutical Process Facility in Pontyclun (CF72).

It is an Industrial Stainless-Steel Pipework Project (ranging from fitting 0.5”- 8” pipework) on hot and cold water. This will all be at BS EN Standards.

The works will initially begin on Prefabrication at the client’s workshop in Swadlincote (DE11); before moving onto site in Pontyclun.

Please note - Labourers will be required to make Brackets.

Requirements:

  * A Valid CSCS Card

  * An IPAF Licence (Working at Heights)

  * Your own hand tools, PPE and kit.

  * 2-3 years’ experience as a Pipefitter/Welder or Skilled Labourer (within Industrial Process Facilities).
