Job Title: Skilled Metal Fabricator
Start Date: A.S.A.P.
Hourly Rate: £12.21 to £22 per hour DOE + company benefits
This role is temp to perm.
Shift Pattern:
· Basic Hours: 7.00am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday
· Overtime may be required and will be compensated accordingly
About the Role:

This is a hands-on role within the metal shop at Byford Road, working as part of a highly skilled, close-knit team where attention to detail, quality, and teamwork are highly valued.
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator who is reliable, enthusiastic, and capable of delivering high-quality work under pressure. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a dynamic environment and work on a variety of bespoke metal fabrication projects.
Key Responsibilities:
The role will include, but is not limited to:
· Working from job sheets and technical drawings to produce a wide range of fabrications and signage in aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel.
· Fabricating bespoke metal sign requirements to a high standard, meeting both quality and aesthetic specifications.
· Operating machinery such as drills, band saws, circular saws, and other metalworking equipment safely and efficiently.
· Using a variety of hand and electrical tools to complete precise fabrication tasks.
· Maintaining a clean, organised workspace and adhering strictly to health and safety guidelines at all times.
· Assisting with quality control checks and ensuring finished pieces meet company and customer standards.
· Supporting team members as required, particularly during busy periods, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.
Experience and Characteristics Required:
· Proven experience in metal fabrication, with a strong understanding of working with aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel.
· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
· Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Strong, enthusiastic, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
· Sense of humour, friendly demeanour, and a team-oriented mindset.
· Reliable, trustworthy, and honest with a professional approach to work.
· Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing requirements.
