Skilled Site Fitter & Fabricator
Location: Batley
Salary: From £16 per hour
Are you an experienced Skilled Site Fitter & Fabricator looking for a new opportunity with a busy, growing engineering company? We're seeking Skilled Site Fitters & Fabricators to join our client's team and support a full order book of exciting architectural and structural projects.
The Role
As a Skilled Site Fitter & Fabricator, you'll play a key role in ensuring all onsite works are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. You'll be working with both mild and stainless steel, particularly within architectural staircases and balustrades.
Main Duties
Carry out on-site installations to the highest Health & Safety standards.
Manage and delegate tasks to semi-skilled fitters.
Maintain quality workmanship and ensure all projects are completed to specification.
Fabricate and fit secondary steelwork and architectural metalwork.
Work to targets and deadlines set by your line manager.
Manufacture and install staircases, balustrades, and associated metalwork.
Demonstrate initiative and strong problem-solving abilities.
Always wear PPE provided and uphold professional standards on site.
Essential Qualifications
Full UK Driving Licence
IPAF
PASMA
CSCS
Desirable Qualifications
SSSTS
Telehandler
FLT
