Job Description

Major Recruitment are currently looking for a skilled Vinyl Applicator to join our friendly vinyl department based in the Normanton, West Yorkshire area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong practical skills, attention to detail, and experience applying vinyl graphics across a variety of signage materials. As a Skilled Vinyl Applicator, you'll play a key role in preparing, producing, and applying vinyl graphics across a wide range of signage products. Working from digital job instructions, you'll help ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and to the high standards our clients expect. We're looking for someone who is flexible, reliable, and committed and in return, we offer a positive workplace where overtime is available when business demands require it.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, weed, mask, and plot vinyl graphics to a professional standard.
 * Apply cut vinyl and printed graphics to aluminium, acrylic, ACM, flat-cut letters, fascia signage, and 3D pictorials.
 * Prepare and clean surfaces prior to vinyl application to ensure a high-quality finish.
 * Read and follow digital job instructions to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
 * Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail across all projects.
 * Follow internal production processes and update progress where required.
 * Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth project completion.
 * Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workspace. 

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience in vinyl application within signage or a similar environment.
 * Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
 * Experience applying vinyl graphics to a variety of signage materials and surfaces.
 * Ability to read and follow digital job instructions.
 * Flexible, reliable, and willing to work overtime when required.
 * Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
 * Confident in taking on new challenges.
 * Hands-on and practical, with an eye for detail.
 * Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
 * Looking to build a long-term career in the signmaking industry.
 * Commitment to health, safety, and compliance in everything you do. Working Monday to Friday
