Job Description
We are seeking a committed and proactive Skills Employment Advisor to join our Gloucester team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting learners to progress into meaningful employment and ensuring employers find candidates that meet their needs.
Salary: £26,500 per annum | Hours: 40 per week, Monday–Friday | Location: Elmbridge Court, Gloucester (office-based role)
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with learners and employers.
Assess learners’ skills, experience, and career aspirations to identify suitable employment opportunities.
Match candidates to vacancies and work placements aligned with their goals.
Provide guidance, motivation, and ongoing support to ensure positive outcomes.
Ensure all work complies with contractual, reporting, and regulatory requirements.To be Successful
We are looking for a customer-focused, target-driven individual who is motivated by helping others succeed.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience in a performance-driven environment.
Strong organisational skills, managing multiple priorities efficiently.
Competence in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.Desirable Experience
Working within employability, skills, or recruitment sectors.
Providing advice, guidance, or mentoring to job seekers or learners.
