Job Title: Slabber
Work Type: Temp to Perm after 12 weeks
Location: New Mills, Derbyshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, Rotating Shifts (5:30am – 1:30pm / 1:30pm – 9:30pm)
Pay Rate: £12.70 per hour + £1.79 per hour shift allowance( after full training increases to £13.19 p/h plus £1.79 p/h shift allowance)
We are currently recruiting for Slabbers to join a busy and well-established food production facility in the New Mills area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking long-term employment within a reputable company that offers excellent training, career progression, and a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Handling and cutting large batches of confectionery or similar food products
*
Operating machinery and working efficiently on a fast-paced production line
*
Following strict hygiene, health & safety, and quality control procedures
*
Assisting with workstation cleaning and setup between production runs
*
Performing manual handling tasks and standing for extended periods
Candidate Requirements:
*
Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is beneficial
*
Physically fit and able to carry out manual work
*
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team
*
Flexible with shift patterns and available for overtime if needed
*
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety
